Ting Casimiro: Manny Pacquio has now been considered as our Modern Hero, the ambassador of Goodwill for the Philippines... Our hero will surely win in this fight...a lot of us Filipinos have been praying for him to bring us the honor and prestige to our country... At least during Pacman's fight we Filipinos will unite as one through our prayers... MABUHAY KA PACMAN!

Isaac Barrio:

I agree. Manny Pacquiao is one of the biggest Boxing super stars on the planet. Manny represents your country well. Win or lose I hope he will receive the same admiration from the Filipino people.

Rjay Calungsod: HIyah all! It seems like I might end up a loser again for the umpteenth time as everytime I posted questions or comments it will not see cyber space. Still, here's my 15th say: EM should be his worst to win this fight. IMO, if he goes in there sharp and be who he is - that means he would let his machismo rule and he'll engage...before he knew it: bang! DOuble right jabs-cum-crosses, and another 1-2 right, left:lights-off! However, if he choose to be the worst that he could be (doing Evanderiology - the science of doing all he can to upset: including low blow, box-and-cling, headbutting, elbowing, and all the dirty stuff) he may WIN. But, the sad news to EM fanatics, our hero MP got it covered already. When the bell rings, don't blink: Watch out for "Manila Ice" right in the first round! GO ERIK MORALES, GO...GO...GO HOME! (Peace!)

Isaac Barrio:

I think Erik is going to surprise some folks tonight. Erik is ready and confident for this fight. I suspect he will not start off slow as he did in his last fight with MAB. I see Erik boxing and moving and timing Manny's bounce. I re watched Manny vs. Marquez last night to clarify my thoughts and position and I must say that Erik has a great chance at beating Manny tonight.

Kayo: "So here?s a $100,000 and put your money where your mouth is," blurted Beltran to the amazement of those in attendance. In boxing is this really happened during presscon ? Just asking i'm new in the boxing world. Thanks!

Isaac Barrio:

That seems to be the case. Bernard Hopkins was the first fighter I remember that publicly bet on himself. It shows a confidence that startles the other side. I see nothing wrong with it.

Joe Archer: Hey, Kimo, love your mailbag.

Could you post this message for Murad?

Murad, which exit are you from? You're now enjoying your 15 seconds in the international limelight. Where you grew up, it might have been acceptable, but do not call Manny Pacquiao your "kid" or your "boy". For all intents and purposes, you're Pac Man's boy. So remind yourself from every now and then that you're no longer talking to yo' dogs in New Jersey.

You'll be out soon 'cause you weren't transparent; looks like you bilked MP, in more ways than one. Also, with the gloves business, you're fooling no one. Just remember that the Pac Man's fans are international and American, and some of us, well, we eat contracts for breakfast and have guys like you for snack.

Your homeboy from Miami

Isaac Barrio:

It is posted. Manny is a man and a warrior...not a boy.

Tarzan: No more! I am tired of people asking who will win. Hey... nobody and I mean NOBODY can predict the outcome of the Pacman-Morales fight, not even Nostradamus. I have been thinking though(that doesn't happen a lot), who could we compare to the great Roberto Duran, Pacman or Morales? Both fighter, no matter what people say, have much in common. Both love to brawl, do not back down and have great hearts. I am talking about Duran in his prime though. Not the NO MAS period.

Isaac Barrio:

Neither can be compared to Duran. Duran is an alltime great. Neither Manny or Erik has achieved this level of greatness. The winner of this fight takes a step toward that..but it is still a long journey.

xile summers: MANNY PACQUIAO WILL KNOCK OUT THEM ALL! MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA, JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ, SCOTT HARISSON, IN JI CHIN, ERIC MORALES, GAIRY ST. CLAIR, AND ALL WHO ATTEMPS TO FIGHT HIM NOWADAYS IN THE FEATHERWEIGHT DIVISION. SOON WILL BEAT FLOYD MAYWEATHER AND OTHER BIG NAMES IN LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION. PACQUIAO HAVE THE STRENGTH AND POWER THAT NO ONE COULD EVER MATCH! FOR HIM HIS OPPONENTS WERE JUST A TOY ONLY. HE'S HUNGER AND VERY FERROCIOUS!

Isaac Barrio:

Now that is confidence in your Man!! Some call it nutthuggery but I say screw them..Back your fighter, back your team..Fuck what others think!!

viper scorpio: Is it effective the secret weapon called manila ice to KO erik el terrible morales?

Isaac Barrio:

Mind games my Amigo..mind games.

Pedro Penduko: Hi Mr. Barrio,

When I'm watching the Pac Man fight, it seems that I could see some aura that Mike Tyson had shed on his glorious days. The power , speed, and iron will to knock down their opponent seems to be somewhat similar in many occassion. The only difference is specially the nationality and the division they are into. What can you say about the two prized boxers?

Isaac Barrio:

Mike Tyson certainly has an aura of invincibility about him. However, I would like to think that Manny's Aura is all his on. Mike's story ended bad. We do not want Manny's to end the same way. Kobe is not Jordan and Manny is not Mike. They are each their own..and if you ask me I would rather take Jordan or Manny over Mike or Kobe any day!!

Jade Dizon: I think pacman will win by TKO! If morales did wat he did in his last fight (he looks not confident, slow and seemingly beaten by barrera) El terrible will come out terrible! dats fo'sho!

Isaac Barrio:

Where you see dust I see gold. Erik impressed me and solidified that he is a great warrior in his latest fight with MAB. Erik stormed back and made the call to close to call. Trust me, Manny doesn't want to see the Erik that we saw in the second half of his fight with MAB.

Bryan P.: Much has been said about the secret weapon, dubbed the "Manila Ice," which Manny Pacquiao hopes to unleash against Erik Morales. My greatest wonder is why MP's camp would make this secret weapon - revealed to be a vicious right hook that would knock Morales cold - a not-so-secret idea at all. Do you think this is a ploy (in the form of a press release) meant to play with the opponent's head? Is this a clever way to make Morales wary of an on-coming right hook from Pacquiao, thereby deflecting El Terrible's attention from MP's usual left straight bomb? I mean, why give away your battle plan when you knew it would give your opponent something to anticipate? I smell a stinking decoy here. Do you?

At any rate, I would love to see this so-called "Manila Ice" unraveled, if only to convince myself that Pac Man is not the one-dimensional fighter some experts tout him to be.

Isaac Barrio:

All I can say is good luck to Manny and if your “Secret” weapon doesn't work the way you wanted it to, don't get discouraged. I remember back in the day when my high school football team was in the playoffs. We were ranked number one in the State and packed a powerful defensive punch. We too had a “Secret” weapon..or play for our game. It didn't pan out as planned and we were bummed and ended up losing a game we shouldn't have. Manny better have a plan B.

francisco flores: Dude morales might of lost his last fight but i know hes hungry for victory and sorry for paquiao but he's about to be next to lose i bet you will see a more stronger morales and hes taking the victory for sure and thats all i gotta say oh and yeah how bout the ass whooping he got from marques too oh yeah!!.

Isaac Barrio:

Erik has a great chance of winning this fight. Manny better watch out for them uppercut.

Geo: Good day kimo!

I have been a Manny Pacquiao fan since the day he fought around small time gyms for 1000 pesos or even less. He used to work in a construction... But when he was interviewed,it's not only for the money but for the glory of being A GREAT FILIPINO BOXER. Who'll win? let's just wait this coming march 19...the spanish used to call FILIPINOS "INDIOS". ....LET'S SEE ABOUT THAT..GO MANNY.... FIGHT AND WIN...

Isaac Barrio:

It is my turn to field the bag so I will take this question. It may have not been about the money then but it is now...there is much disorder around Manny right now (About the $$$) and I think it will hurt him in this biggest of big fights.

Bujig: Hey Mr. Isaac Barrio! WHo do you think you are. Having been the host of this public forum you should be impartial to all those who join. Don't be so biased with Mr. Erik Morales. If Mr. Pacman Pacquiao wins by Sunday, mark his word, i'll get back to this forum and ask you who's the greatest and if Morales wins, i'll be back also to greet you CONGRATULATIONS! Back to the subject... 50-50, Either fighter can win.

So long. Astalavista Baby!

Isaac Barrio:

I like my crow with ketchup and beer. But something tells me you better be the one preparing to chow down on some tough to swallow crow.

robbie: erik should be scared by now. the reason is pacman is not an ordinary advesary and many boxing legends and fans knows it. Pacman is pure power and speed. He is a disciplined fighter and he's a true person.terrible will be terrified come boxing fight this sunday(Philippine time). Marquez is not worthy of a rematch. If he want manny he should come to the Philippines. Refs should be much younger than before, refs of age 70's and above should just watch and relax. marquez, he doesn't want a rematch because he doesn't want his face to filled with blood again.

Isaac Barrio:

Erik fears no man. If he did he wouldn't be a professional fighter.

Robbie: BestDamnBoxing.com is implying that the Morales/Paquiao fight will be a hoax and that the outcome of the fight will be a draw. Their writers claim that managers and promoters for both camps held a secret meeting in Las Vegas to agree on the afore mentioned.

Fight fans will be looking for an action packed fight, that according to BestDamnBoxing.com has been confirmed to end as a draw.

A draw means more money for managers and promoters in the rematch; I ask what have you heard about this and have you read the article. With the coruption surrounding Top Rank it may be true.

Please reply promptly.

Rob Johnson.

Isaac Barrio:

Who the fuck is Best Damn Boxing and what the hell do they know? I will tell you, Jack Shit!! With the FBI already hot on Top Rank's trail it would be the bone head move of the century to fix such a high profile fight.

ritz rico reyes: If terrible will not use scientific fights against Pacman he will lost this fight within 6 rounds.

Isaac Barrio:

It is possible! It is also possible that Morales comes in and blows out Pac in the same amount of time.

MEXICANO HATER: ei mr. barrio..can i ask you something?what is your real profession?what do you know about boxing?i think your just a poor beggar and a boxing analyst wanna be.Maybe you are gay , and you have crush on MORALES , ERIk....in love?

Isaac Barrio:

LOL..Ha..HA. I know that Erik can win this fight and I know that I have a perfect record in picking fights this year.

JUNE: IS THERE REALLY AN ANVATAGE OF A HIGG ALTITUDE TRAINING? I AM TALKING ABOUT MR. EL TERRIBLE....BY THE WAY I'M PACMAN FAN.....THANKS AND MORE POWER ..SEE YOU AT MGM

Isaac Barrio:

I really don't know. I'm not a medical doctor so I cant truly answer this question. I guess if you can be in shape at 7,000 feet you are surely to be in better shape at the altitude of a Las Vegas. Maybe it increases lung capacity.

frankie balagtas: Not all Mexicans are rooting for El Terrible. A whole town of Mexicans in the the province of Pampanga, Phil. are egging Pacman to KO Morales. This early, I think we better scrutinize all the dealings made by Pacman's new manager named Finkel. Hey, Mr. Finkel, Watch out, our eyes are on you. Mr. Kimo, I believe Erik is a solid fighter but Manny is a solid puncher. Manny in 7. Thanks and keep it up guys.

Isaac Barrio:

Boxing Fans are Boxing Fans and they should root for who they want to.

Davao Boy: I think there will be a draw in this fight just like Marquez and Pacquiao fight.Or Manny will lose this game if it exceed 10 rounds. He should knock down Morales or?

Isaac Barrio:

Manny has a tall task in front of him, he has to do something no one has ever done before. Knock Erik Morales out..

Adrien: shut ur gay ass up kimo...u be hatin y dun u jus shut da fuck up nd let see watz gonna happen dumbfuck!i bet u MP will knock u out in 1 punch bitch..dis bitch think his tight dumbass foo..peace bitch

Isaac Barrio:

LOL. why so much hate? Kimo is going for Manny Pac to win. I dont know about Manny KO'ing Kimo with one punch..Kimo is a big dude.

des_Troy: Paquiao will K.O erik Morales at round 3 or 6. if not Paquiao will have a controversial draw or lost.

Isaac Barrio:

Let us save judgement until after the fight. If Manny losses and really deserved the win then we will make it known!! I will promise you that. We are good at raising hell at Hardcore Boxing.

erik: morales is good.......
but Manny is the greatest.....
no one can beat him neither morales nor marquez and barrera....
he wii going to sat at the throne.
mabuhay Paquiao.

Isaac Barrio:

Manny the greatest? No!! Can he beat Erik? Maybe...

Viper: Having read time and time again, read comments and analysis from all sides, some favoring EM, some favoring PACMAN. Can you give me pointers as what to look for in the early rounds of their match that would probabaly indicate the pace and outcome in the end? My heart goes for PACMAN, but my unbiased mind says its 50-50! Good Luck Pacman!

Isaac Barrio:

You are smart to assume it is 50-50. Some things to look for early on:
1. The pace of the fight. Is Manny smothering him with speed. Is Erik using the ring and Jabbing?
2. The effect on Morales when Manny lands his first big punch (Or Secret Weapon)
3. The effect on Manny when Erik lands his first big punch
4. Manny's footwork. Is he bouncing and can that bounce be timed for an uppercut. I think Erik has been working on this timing.
5. Look to see if Erik tries to make this dirty. Low blows whne the Ref isnt looking. Elbows to the head..etc. How will Manny and the Ref respond to this.

Eric Mercado: I respect manny's power but i think morales could win if he will fight manny in a strategic game cuz manny's weakness is his ability to stay on stretch just like tyson remember they both have the same trainer, manny's going for the first 2 rounds but he cant play on the stretch thats why he got a draw on marquez just my 2 centimos.

Isaac Barrio:

Manny better have a plan B because The KO isn't going to come early.

Lakeshow9: what do you think about the padded Winning brand gloves that EM chose for Pacquiao to use, opposed to the Reyes Cleto punchers gloves that Manny has always been wearing. any advantage either way ? those huge padded Winning brand gloves that EM prefers are the same ones that MAB had an issue over during EM MAB III. those are training gloves aren't they?

Isaac Barrio:

Gloves don't make a difference. It is all in the head.
