Ben: What do you think is the difference between Junior Jones and Manny Pacquiao fighting style? Do you think that EM can repeat what he have done to Junior Jones after junior Jones ko Barrera

Kimo Morrison:

Too many to mention, like being right handed, not near the puncher, just a different fighter all together. I think EM can win, but it is gonna have to be his best performance EVER!

Tope: Im a Filipino and avid fan of MP but I still believe that it would not be a KO win for him but a UD.EM is a strong fighter with a big heart maybe he could be KD but KO I don't think so. Lastly,do you think MAB is afraid of MP? Why is he not so interested on having a rematch with MP? Tnks

Kimo Morrison:

I think first off that MAB is more interested in a rematch than he leads on...next, I think EM has always been vulnerable to being KO'd the problem is that when he is so weary that he is ready to be dropped, usually so is his opponent and they are not able to put the finishing touches on him. This is where I believe Erik will be in a far different fight than any other if he decides to go to war. Pac keeps a very strong, fast pace from beginning to end, and will more than likely gain aggressiveness if he senses Erik getting weak and will capitalize on this. IMO.

Jay: I think EM has the capability to outbox MP. I also, think he can get away with a lot of clean solid hits on MP. The only thing I am afraid of is that, can EM take solid ones from MP? Whats your take on this?

Kimo Morrison:

I think that EM has the capability to outbox MP early and can get away with some good clean shots but the pace if he decides to try and keep Pac on the outside will prove too feverish for him. As far as taking shots...I feel the same, he will be able to take them early, but one thing about Erik is he has ALWAYS looked as if he were going to drop dead from exhaustion come the end of a grueling battle, and once he begins to slow in the least bit, he will take more and more shots doing more and more damage until finally for the first time he will be able to rise to his feet no longer...IF HE FIGHTS AN OUTSIDE BOXING MATCH THAT TURNS INTO A WAR.

artbababao: do you believe that judges and other influential people had just 'allowed' if not favored MAB to win against EM in their last fight (other than a draw) to save losing one of the big assets in boxing business?

Kimo Morrison:

No, because in my opinion, Barrera CLEARLY won the fight...

eric devera: Kimo
Hey, as I read the mailbag from round 1 to 15.its obviously that you are in Morales side. you dont answer the question in a proper way.what is the use of this mailbag since you are not fair in your opinion.i noticed that if the question is in favor of pacquiao, you always turn it to be funny.i felt that your kinda irritated if pacquiao praised by the one who askin you a question.

Kimo Morrison:

Not at all sir, and in fact, I choose Pac-Man to win this bout!!! I just think that MANY Pac fans are overlooking the fact that Erik is MUCH more dangerous than he may appear given his last couple of performances. I LOVE Pac-Man, and really can't stand Erik Morales because I think him to be cocky, and unsportsmanlike like...BUT I feel almost compelled to come to his defense when he is attacked with such disregard by Pac fans who apparently have NO IDEA THE DANGER OF THIS FIGHT FOR PAC! If anything I am sarcastic for the wrong reason which is I don't want Pac fans to be TOO overconfident and commit suicide if he were to lose convincingly! I am really only trying to prepare them for REALITY as it may be...I assure you, I think Pac WILL win for reasons I have expressed with EM having no chance of bypassing all out war but think Erik DOES have the potential to beat Pac and if he uses his head rather than emotions could make asses out of us all.

Rodge: As to what I had seen of Manny Pacquiao, he has no counterpunching skills. He is one dimensional fighter relying mainly to his killer left punch just like his fight against Marquez. And besides, he is not a scientific boxer. In analyzing the Marquez fight, when he has a great advantage after the first and second round, if he could only play safe by counterpunching or waiting for Marquez to box and make a counterpunch, I think he will surely win. Knowing for the fact that Marquez is a counter puncher, he will surely not initiate to box which makes the fight to his disadvantage. Just like what happened in the Marquez-Salido fight. If Manny only thinks, he will surely win.

Kimo Morrison:

I am kind of confused by the statement because I find it contradictory but I agree with the end of it. I do not think Manny is "one" dimensional, nor is he "multi" dimensional, I think him to be maybe "bi" dimensional...haha he CAN put together great combos and mix up his game but ONLY when coming forward. When made to think TOO much and sitting back on his heels is very non-effective and thinks only of landing his money punch.

zedrick: yes i'm a pacquiao fans, and i'm a filipino. here we idolized him as the greatest fighter of all time in the history of philippine boxing. everytime he had a fight all of us here stick our neck out on any tv we can see just to see him win. And that maybe, he wins not by unanimous decision against EM but by a devastating KO in any round. For sure the first time he fight MAB, maybe all of us knew then that he had no chance in anyways. And for that he proved as wrong. That maybe he himself the only one who believes he can do it, not only winning it but with style. That for now won't take long. All of us knew what courage and ability he possesed. That he can achieve them if he focuses so much on the task at hand. We love MPP, even if things went wrong(?)! More power to your column!!

Kimo Morrison:

I'm glad that you will be with your man win or lose, that is the way boxing fans should be as the fighters usually lay their lives down for our entertainment in the long run and should not be heckled when they do lose.

boytit: Hi to all cebuanos, ijust wondering how most of all readers in favor of PAC kayoed EM, in fairness, EM is the best SuperFeather out there, it just so happen that the styles of barrera is difficult for him to handle cuz styles makes fights, what do you think?

Kimo Morrison:

I believe that you are right on the money with saying styles make fights and MAB just has his number...we will only find out who the best feather out there is come the 19th of March.

clark: I can't wait for MAB vs. PACMAN rematch. I think that will be most the exiting fight than morales pacman fight. to prove who is the best p4p boxer in feather wieght division

Kimo Morrison:

I think so too, and I myself think that Barrera will even the score setting up a rubber match.

Eric Centeno: Hi! I'm glad there's a mailbag like this for me to read the comments of everyone around the world regarding my idol Manny Pacquiao. This is my take on the these 2 pugilists. Back in 2003, when MP annihilated MAB, i think that was a legit win and i'm not buying MAB's excuses of having an off night. MAB, as great as he is, just couldnt trade blows with a devastating puncher like MP. He just couldnt box and counter punch effectively with MP going forward and pressing the action from start to finish. I would credit MAB's wins over EM because he was able to box and counter punch effectively despite EM's attack. EM just doesnt have the power enougn to back up MAB. With that said, I believe the MP-EM matchup has greatness written all over it. Two fighters with similar plans of attack but different styles in execution. Pacquiao pressing forward with all power and speed while EM pressing forward with good boxing skills and ring savvy. Something just has to give and i cant wait to see this one.

Kimo Morrison:

Great to hear someone that see's things in the same light as I, although I think Pac won the fight with MAB fairly without hindrance I do think that it was not the best I have seen personally of Barrera and think that in a rematch it will be a far closer bout and IMO Barrera will take number 2...

LouWyn: I will just to comment on your statement "you will bet for the underdog" because you can have a great share when the underdog bets the man, do you think you are also bias, according to Vegas betting Manny is favored 6-5 against Morales. Therefore Morales is the underdog...... Hmmm..smells fishy.

Kimo Morrison:

Must be meant for Isaac...I do not recall saying anything of the sort...if I did, please correct me.

extra_rice: I have never felt this excited in anticipation of a boxing match... mike tyson's fights during his heydays would be a far second... i believe we are all winners after the march 19 fight... props to erik and manny for signing up on such a short notice... now my question to you is until when do you think MAB and JMM (both hiding in the mountains) will avoid a rematch with manny?

Kimo Morrison:

I think that we will see MAB calling out Pac shortly after this fight is done no matter who wins. If Pac wins, then he will have to prove that he is the best at 130 and if Pac loses, then MAB will be hoping to redeem himself while Pac is coming off loss also figuring if Erik beat him, so can he...a fight between MAB and Pac at 130 will prove to be a much different fight, win or lose, I see it being much less one sided by Manny at this weight...

Jonathan Tumalay: Hi macho guys, Is there any chance that pacman will be hurt in sparring or training and el terrible will dominate the fight and win on points?

Kimo Morrison:

If I could see the future...I could tell you the answer as well as be a rich SOB from all the fights I would bet on but I can't and therefor...I don't know...sorry

Bagong Tuli: With all the hype going on from Manny's camp and supporters, who are you going to put your money on?

Kimo Morrison:

My money is already on Pac.

Ato Castillo: Who do you think is going to win? Manny or Erik? And do you think it will be a knock out or a distance to determine the match?

Kimo Morrison:

I THINK Pac will win by late TKO but IF this fight goes the distance I can only see Erik winning it by points.

Jurgen: I've only learned to love boxing a couple of years back so I hope my questions wouldn?t sound stupid. I have been following the bouts of the three musketeers namely MAB, JMM, and EM. To be honest, I am a fan of them all in an equal manner. Then this smiley young warrior came out from the bushes flattening anything on its route. He?s already run through MAB and gave a lot of trouble to JMM and now eyeing at the arguably best among the three. Questions: 1. Do you think MAB will ever find courage to face his conqueror? 2. Do you believe JMM avoided Manny by pricing himself high? 3. Do you think that MAB and EM (also Hamed) were avoiding JMM? 4. I think MP will be standing the top of the pyramid of the feathers by the end of next if not this year. Where do you see him standing? Thanks and more power. God bless.

Kimo Morrison:

#1...yes I do, and it will be soon...#2 Yes I do...#3Not avoiding, but waiting for stock to rise for better money in the fights as before Pac/JMM VERY few people outside of Hardcore fans knew who he was.#4 I think he will be standing at number 2 at the end of the year

Bern: pacman has tactical boxing skill than em. he bcom a wbc flyweigth at the age of 19. ibf cham at the age of 22. and a peoples feathearweigth champ at 24. now can u compare em, barrera, marquez, to her, im surely 100% pacman will win,

Kimo Morrison:

I never call a fight on the way a two fighters performed against another mutual fighter. I look at all fights independently by matching styles first then looking at how each has reacted in similar fights as well as nature when pressured/hurt and finally conditioning/heart. But boxing is weird in that it can make you look stupid quick with the unknown ALWAYS just around the corner

easy: will you be surprised if manny pacquiao knocks down EM in the first or second round?

Kimo Morrison:

I would not be surprised to see Erik get knocked down in 1 or 2 but would be shocked if he didn't continue...

socrates: there is a great possibility that morales will kiss the canvas when the two meets this coming march 19 obviously bacause pacman is more powerful than morales. morales cannot take the thundering punches of pacman. sad to say but that's the truth. i am a mexican but i think pacman will win, he has the power. thank you!

Kimo Morrison:

I think 130 is a new weight for Pac as it was for MAB who showed it to be fitting. It may or MAY NOT be as fitting for Manny. I think Erik has a tremendous chin and only through wearing him down will Pac be able to knock him out which is why I call it in the Championship rounds 10-12.

Lino "El Guapo" Baron: Why does Morales lose his cool too easily..Will it be a dilemma for his March 19 duel with Pac?

Kimo Morrison:

Some of us are hot heads and some keep their cool...Erik is definitely the hot head type, and I see it as his BIGGEST weakness in this fight against Manny.

Ricky S. Fernandez: do you think manny pacquiao will knock erik morales before 3 rounds? and who would be the next best challenger for manny pacquiao(if he will win the fight against morales)in the super FW division?

Kimo Morrison:

No I don't think before 3, and the best challenge for him will be Barrera which will be a better fight the second time around.

nitor_01: I know Morales can hit hard, but I still think he's just too slow for Manny. In his last fight against Barrera, he allowed Marco to hit him with his power punches. Although Erik has a very powerful jab, and he has a decent height and reach advantage against pac, he's just too slow. In this fight, I expect a very different Morales. He will try to use his advantages to slow down pac. And in order to slow down Manny, he needs to fight intelligently. But Erik's pride will cause his downfall in this fight. If he decides to slug it out with Manny, he will kiss the canvas! Marquez in my opinion, is the only one who can match Manny's attack. Forget about Barrera and Morales. In their division, speed is power. And therefore, speed is everything. That's something they will learn from Manny. But still, may the best man win!

Kimo Morrison:

I think I saw this exact letter once before, but ....anyway, you are right for the most part in your letter other than don't count MAB out at 130.

phil_d_phanes: If pacman wins by KO or discision or Draw, is their gonna be a rematch? Man i cant wait to watch this fight. Whos gonna be the Ref? I like the old hispanic white and bald ref. I dont know his name. if manny lose, im goin to kill myself..dammit! thanks kimo!

Kimo Morrison:

I think you are talking about Joe Cortez, and he is one of my favorite refs in the game! I don't know about a rematch for any reason other than a draw unless it is a controversial decision but either way I would hate to know you are not around to see Manny win a re-match were he too lose and get one!

Milo Marvel Me: Hi brother! Just a hunch...I thimk Erik will be in for a long night. The moment he feels one power punch...he may have so many things going in his mind. Great job dude!!

Kimo Morrison:

Yep...long night indeed!

JP: if manny losses, does he still have spot for big fights? why not fight in jin chi first? i think he is less dangerous opponent than anybody else... does it mean that manny is just after the big money on the line?

Kimo Morrison:

Yes, he will continue to be a draw, and as far as Chi? If he lost then Morales may see him as unworthy because he beat him.

Marlon Alipio: According to Freddie Roach, Juan Manuel Marquez raised his prize for the fight against Manny Pacquiao to avoid fighting him again, do you think he has a point on saying that? And if ever Manny Pacquiao will win on his upcoming fight against Erik Morales, is there a way for Juan Manuel Marquez to avoid Manny Pacquiao the second time around? What is the possiblity for Manny Pacquaio to fight Juan Manuel Marquez and settle that controversial draw once and for all? Thank You and More Power !!! Mabuhay !!!

Kimo Morrison:

I think Marquez may get lost in the shuffle, and as far as I am concerned there are many fights out there I would rather see Pac in.

jayP: well i think if morales losses or the other way arund, it would be like morales-barrera trilogy...to really settle whose leather punches harder or chins' stronger.. there should be a rematch, what do you think?

Kimo Morrison:

I always like rematches when great fights happen so in this case I am sure that I wouldn't mind.
