DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT STARS DMITRIY SALITA, PAULIE MALIGNAGGI AND EDGAR SANTANA TO MAKE APPEARANCE TOUR THIS WEEKEND PRIOR TO BROADWAY BOXING SUMMER BASH ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 25th AT HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM
Three of DiBella Entertainment’s New York stars will have a busy weekend of appearances as a prelude to the August 25th Broadway Boxing Summer Bash card at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center.
First, on Saturday, August 20th at 3:00 PM, Spanish Harlem’s Edgar “El Chamaco” Santana will conduct an open workout on 106th Street Between 2nd & 3rd Avenues. Santana will workout, shadow box and spar for the crowd, followed by an autograph signing and photo session. Also participating will be the amateur boxing team from Juan LaPorte's Gym who will put on several exhibition bouts. The workout and bouts are being held in conjunction with the Manhattan Community Board Eleven Cultural Affairs Committee Street Fair. The fair runs from Noon to 6:00 PM on 106th Street between Lexington and Second Avenues.
Later on Saturday night at 10 PM, Brooklyn’s Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi will join Santana and make a stop at the popular night club Crobar (530 West 28th Street) to meet and greet fans and sign autographs. Tickets for the August 25th edition of Broadway Boxing will be on sale at the club.
On Sunday, August 21st, Dmitriy “Star of David” Salita, will make an appearance in his home borough of Brooklyn at The Summer Festival in Brighton Beach at Noon on the Brighton Beach Boardwalk (Brighton 4th and Broadway). The popular undefeated fighter will meet and greet fans at the festival. Tickets to the Broadway Boxing Summer Bash will be on sale during Salita’s appearance.
Broadway Boxing pumps up the pulse…Hasidic Reggae Sensation Matisyahu has signed on the dotted line and is gearing up for his special short performance at the August 25th Broadway Boxing. The popular performer, whose albums have been burning up the Billboard Reggae Music Charts, will sing Salita into the ring and play a short set immediately after the fights in the Hammerstein Ballroom.
